WakeMK Summer Jam 2011
It’s that time of year again when the lovely peeps at WakeMK host their legendary Summer Jam. Unlike most competition formats, you get to showcase exactly what you can do in a jam format. As far as we understand, each category gets an hour to jam to show their skills, they will be judged on the usual, kickers, sliders and inverts… and how well tricks are executed. You can do a trick more than once if you want to better it but you need to show the judges everything you can do. Then the top riders in each category will battle it out in a two lap final – standard half lap starting at the banana and finishing at the last toy on the first straight..
With the Summer drawing to a close, this is a great fun contest to really show off all your hard work over the season.
The Summer Jam will be held on Sunday 11th September, Registration is from 9am and the Jam Heats start at 9.15am. Categories: Pro Men (13+ inverts) , Open Men , Pro Women (3+ inverts) , Open Women , Pro Rail , Open Rail , Mini Jam , Wakeskate .
Entry Fee is £20 and £15 for additional categories. As always if you pre register you get a 2 hour session for £15 before the day! The top 3 riders will get a goodie bag with loads of great prizes in, and the winner of each Pro Category will get a CASH PRIZE!!! We’ve got some great prizes already confirmed from: GoPro, Oneill Wetsuits, Daytona Go-Karting, Slingshot, Dragon, Snozone, Hurley, Boarders Boards, Nalu Beads, Bucks Boarding, Sooruz, Hyperlite, Mystic.
