Wake MK Spring Jam 2010

Unofficially the grand opening of the 2010 wakeboarding competition season, Wake MK bring you the Spring Jam on Sunday 25th April.

If you’ve ever wondered how wakeboarding came about, they’ve rather brilliantly devised their own Darwinian Origin of the Wakeboarder Species, mapping the bizarre yet necessary stages of its evolution!

The competition is a jam format, basically you’re given a time limit to show off your prowess on the water, no fall limit, just show the judges what you can do. As always there’s an impressive prize pool and money for the Pro catagories.

PRE REGISTERED RIDERS GET A 2 HOUR SESSION FOR £15.

Categories are:
Pro Men (10+ Inverts)
Pro Women (2+ Inverts)
Open Men
Open Women
Pro Rail Jam
Open Rail Jam
Wakeskate Jam
Mini Jam (Under 14s)

Each Category is £20 and £15 for any additional you enter. Payment is taken in CASH on the day and registration starts at 8am with practice time available until about 9.15 when rider briefing starts.

The heats will again be a minimum of 45 minutes depending on the number of competitors and each rider will get a carrier gap to give them the maximum flat water to showcase their style. The top 6 from each category will go through to a 2 run final to decide the placings.

The Mini Jam and Wakeskate Jam will not run a final - the heat will be judged on the skill and variety of the riders.
