Vote for London Wake Park

A fresh new wake park might be opening its doors in the centre of London. The wake park is proposing the use of 2 System 2.0 cable rigs and a number of floating obstacles. The project is quite far in to its life and they hope to open ready for summer 2010. In a bid to help with funding for the project the team behind London Wake Park have entered a contest with Barclays Bank to win £50,000. Their business idea is very unique and would help to bring wakeboarding to a much wider demographic and huge number of people. The location is London Docklands which is right in the centre of London and directly next to City Airport. If this project gets off the ground it will do nothing but good for the sport of wakeboarding.
