The Wake Plan Series: Prevention is better than Cure

In the run up to the new season, we want to offer you some helpful ways to get fit for the first ride and give you a basic understanding of how you can prevent injury and aches and pains throughout the year.

Over the next 6 weeks (the build up to Easter), we’ll be bringing you advice, news and offers from professionals in the fields of fitness, nutrition and medicine, guiding you through a basic understanding of how Wakeboarding affects you physically and how you can help your body stay healthy.

We all love wakeboarding, but sometimes our body isn’t such a fan, so we want to help you develop a better appreciation of how you can make this a happy relationship, and a long term one too!

We’ll bring you 3 weeks devoted to developing your fitness, getting you up to speed and avoid that ‘hit by a truck’ feeling that usually marks the new season! Then there’ll be a further 3 weeks on physical maintenance. With these basic tools to help you, we hope to see you all fit and healthy for the best year yet! These will be permanently on the site so you can refer to them at any time.
