‘Show Wakers’ hit the London Boat Show

Thursday evening was competition time at the London Boat Show. There at the impressive Watersports Action Pool, Matt Crowhurst, Tim Woodhead and Alliance put on one heck of a show inviting the best of the Brits to battle it out on the custom made wake park.

With top dollar on offer, the ‘show wakers’  treated crowds to some impressive rail work, big airs and a few, well, epic fails!!! Four made it to the top, Dec Clifford winning ‘Best Kicker’, Marc Rossiter – Best Rail and for Best Air - Freddie Carter and Gary Stelfox…. four wakeboarders we say, well, that can only mean one thing… Hottie of the Month is back for 2011.

Feast your eyes on these ‘show wakers’ and the poll will be up next week.

In the mean time, this weekend (15-16th January) marks the final round up weekend, the crescendo if you like, to the London Boat Show. If you’ve not yet ventured over to Docklands, make sure you pop over at some point this weekend to really get your 2011 season kick started. Right in amongst the dingys, life jackets and nautical navigation wizardry, you’ll find the world of Wakeboarding representing larger than any Sunseeker with the Watersports Action Pool. It’s the absolute must event to get your wakeboarding ‘swag onnnnn’ for 2011! There are bargains galore at numerous stands all showing off their sparkly new 2011 kit often at discounted ‘show rates’.

The impressive Watersports Action Pool using a System 2.0 is hosting taster sessions this weekend with LDB and Raymondo. You must book these in advance, so arrive early to get your name down at the pool.

Also the godfather of UK Wakeboarding Matt Crowhurst, will be in the ‘Knowledge Box’ both Sat and Sunday 13.40 – 14.00 letting you know how to get the very most out of your wakeboarding.
