Love Jam 2011 Results
Liquid Wake Park had a great turn out on Saturday for their Love Jam. With temperatures in the twenties and the sun shining, over 65 riders hit the water to battle it out for a podium position.
Congratulations to Laura Christian winning the Girls (under16s), Alex Gardiner winning the Masters (Over 30’s – with the guys no less!) and Steph Caller for taking the Open Women top spot. Not least of all forgetting Beth ‘Bieber’ Christian and Lauren Kidd in the Minis (Under 12) in their first competition! We’re also delighted to tell you that HOTM winner Gary Stelfox won the Open Men!
The jam style format allowed riders to display loads of different tricks and skills on the water. We saw a range of abilities in all categories from new starters to pro’s and everyone performed so well. We had a great crowd of spectators and Liquid Force and O’Neill were down displaying and demoing all their new 2011 gear. Congratulations to all the competitors, spectators and sponsors for making it such a successful day, roll on the next one!
