Jules Haley reports on the Girls Ride Day at The Projects

Jules Haley has made her annual wakeboarding pilgrimage to the sunny shores of Florida and whilst shredding her head off and partying like only Miss Haley can, she got a lot of chicks riding sessions in the bag. Here’s just one of them where she helped introduce a group to the System 2.0 at Projects.

Just a few weeks ago, April 18th, saw the return of Girls Ride Day, out at the Projects system 2.0 wake park in Florida. Girls came from as far as Georgia, Miami and Jacksonville, and the day was filled with hot dogs, cupcakes, jammin’ beats, great conditions and lots of laughs.

Many of the girls had never ridden on the system 2.0 before, so it was great to see everyone getting to grips on this extraordinary new system. With Oneill and Nike 6.0 providing great purses, handbags, hats and shoes to be won, the girls were really pushing themselves and each other to learn new tricks. Lola hit (and stomped) her first rail, Jen stuck a clean kick flip, and Andrea got up on a wakeboard first time!

Overall the event was awesome and a great success all round. Big thanks to everyone who came out; Oneill, Reef, and The Projects for all their support, and to Jenny GilanFarr for putting it all together! Keep your eyes peeled for a Girls Ride Day coming to the UK this summer…
