AOD Stop 2 Results
The second Bank Holiday weekend of May was celebrated with the second of the 2011 four stop AOD tour at Quays. Wouldn’t it be nice to have four bank Holidays in October to celebrate the 4th and final tour stop?
With nearly 40 entrants, the judges were treated to a national accumulation of riders throwing down inverts, slams and a fair bit of Relentless! 12 girls entered amongst the 10 divisions inspiring more girls to enter for every stop! Some real characters are emerging amongst the girls, least of all Megzy Barker, taking her second consecutive win, with that fluro Mohican helmet and who could forget that fashion air!
Laura Christian and Katie Batchelor seem set to battle out the podium spots for the rest of the season, definitely worth keeping an eye out for these two and Antonia Wheeler showed that no matter how young you are, you can still compete well with the boys!
Louise Nott topped the open women, showing there’s definitely something in the name, and LJ got her first top spot in the Ladies Masters. Well done to everyone riding and Quays and the crew for putting on an awesome event.

Thanks to James Mckeown for the pictures. The full album of pictures from the event can be found on his Flickr page.
The next AOD stop is at LDB Wakeschool on Sept 24th, so plenty of time to really get those trick runs dialled!
