WMSki Longest Day Jam
Our friends at WMSki in Cirencester are celebrating these long summer days with their 3rd annual Longest Day Cable Jam on Sunday 26th June. It’s a fun contest to get involved with and certainly good practice for the Nationals coming up at the end of July.
This cable event is open to anyone and there are women’s categories at Rookie, Intermediate and Pro + wakeskate.
Registration for this event can be done on the day at 08.00 – 09.30am, or before hand by calling the centre. Details below.
The event is supported by Geode Networks, J-Star, Bern Unlimited and Watermark, who have already promised some top prizes including a substantial and ever-growing prize fund for the pro category.
Registration costs £25.00 per competitor. Call 0845 895 9000 to secure your place.
WMSki Ladies Mornings
Don’t forget that WMSki host their ladies Mornings every Thursday morning where similar abilities are grouped together with your specific goals taken into account. Whether your aim is just to get round the lake, or if you want to land your first invert off the kicker, their coaches will teach you all you need to know, in a non-pressured environment. They run the cable slightly slower than normal, making it much easier to learn, and they’ll even pick you up in the boat if you fall!
The sessions run every Thursday morning between 10am and 12pm and cost £30 including any equipment you need. Keep your eyes out for special pro-coaching mornings through 2010 with Steph Caller.
