Last weekend saw the 2nd and final boat stop of the Relentless UK Pro Wakeboard Tour at Quayside Wakeboard and Waterski, Surrey. Once again the ladies were on form and we were treated to some unbelievable riding all day long. With 4 strong girls in the Pro Women’s division, the top spot was up for taking, and who knew how things would pan out. After a busy season of contests, this was the season finale on the boat side of things for our UK riders, so the girls were really battling it out for the prize money and overall glory.

Its fair to say that the day didn’t get off to a great start for the girls, when Charlotte Bryant, Jules Haley and Sian Hurst all took unfortunate falls in the qualifying rounds. Knowing that we all had a lot more to give, however, everyone really stepped up their game in the finals. Despite an unlucky fall in her run, Irish rider Sian Hurst rode well, stepping it up and finishing with a sick off axis toeside 540. Both Jules Haley and Charlotte Bryant, pulled off great runs, Charlotte sticking a sick heelside 540, and Jules styling it out with a stalefish heelside 180. It was Argentinean shredder Robbie Rendo, however, who stole the show with her killer pass of inverts and spins. Robbie is always a pleasure to watch; she goes huge, grabs nearly everything, and makes wakeboarding look easy! Robbie’s second victory meant she won the overall tour, putting Jules and Charlotte in joint 2nd.
